In the multivariate analysis the linear relationship between the level of compliance I.a (applied), III.a (applied and explained sufficiently), I.b (applied for comparable code provisions) and III.b (applied and explained sufficiently for comparable code provisions) and independent variables of time, size and judicial corporate governance arrangement are researched by means of linear regression to find out how the highest and, more importantly, the most sufficient compliance can be clarified and hence promoted in future. The models will be based on the results of the bivariate analysis and independent variables of time, size and judicial corporate governance arrangement will be involved since it is expected that they will matter. In addition to the univariate and bivariate analyses performed, the aim of the multivariate analysis is solely to research what matters as regards the level ofcompliance, taking all the relevant variables researched into account simultaneously, in order to present - and the same applies where the univariate and bivariate analyses are concerned -recommendations for the application of the comply or explain principle.
