It is recommended that:
more attention be given to the complexity of human relations between directors and members of the SB and the impact of behaviour on the functioning of corporations (par. 2.4.2);
accountants devote more attention to the substantive assessment of the management report regarding the diversity chapter, in collaboration with experts in this field, such as organisation scholars (par. 3.2.2);
the media should recognise and acknowledge that they too are influenced by implicit gender bias in their news coverage and that they should apply more mitigation techniques to reduce this influence (par. 3.5.4);
executive search firms should acknowledge the impact of implicit gender bias and take measures to mitigate, as far as possible, the effects of implicit gender bias in the search for new candidates seeking high-level positions (par. 3.5.2);
scholars and people in the field should ensure a gender-diverse speaking line up when hosting conferences, symposia and other events (par. 3.5.4);
shareholders, works councils and other stakeholders should insist that directors and members of the SB advocate gender diversity at the top of Dutch corporations, specify goals to this effect and, subsequently, act upon it (par. 3.5.4 and par. 3.5.6).
